Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the thermal stability during molding by compounding a vinyl chloride resin with a maleic acid monoester compd. and a metal soap. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. comprises: 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin such as a vinyl chloride homopolymer, a copolymer mainly comprising vinyl chloride, or a post-chlorinated vinyl chloride resin; 0.1-3.0 pts.wt. maleic acid monoester compd. such as monobutyl maleate or mono-2-ethylhexyl maleate; 1-10 pts.wt. metal soap (e.g. dibasic lead stearate); and, if necessary, a lubricant, colorant, etc.
