Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the covering material having excellent temperature- insulating property, transparency, dust-preventing property, low temperature antifogging property and water dropping-reducing effect and suitable for the preparation of green houses by compounding a vinyl chloride resin with an ester of a glycerol alkylene oxide adduct with a higher fatty acid. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride resin is compounded with 0.2-4wt.%, preferably 0.5-2wt.%, of an ester of a glycerol alkylene oxide adduct with a higher fatty acid (e.g. stearic acid) and 0.05-7wt.%, preferably 0.1-5wt.%, of an inorganic filler (e.g. calcium carbonate or feldspar) to provide a composition. The composition is formed into a film having a thickness of 0.03-0.3mm, preferably 0.05-0.2mm.
