Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently detect vibration propagated in a body to be measured, specially, a plate wave elastic wave without equipping the body to be measured with special constitution, and to reduce the thickness of the device including the body to be measured and lower the manufacture cost.
CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric element 6 in a prismatic shape is formed and has its electrode surface fixed almost at a right angle to a vibration transmission plate 8. Namely, it is fixed to the vibration transmission plate 8 on a surface parallel to a polarization direction.
