Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vise capable of fixing a thin-walled and easily-deformable workpiece almost without deformation, and obtaining a great rotation resistance force by a comparatively weak clamp force.SOLUTION: A vise V includes a pair of jaws (a fixed jaw 2, a moving jaw 3) for clamping a workpiece W, and a feed clamp mechanism (a feed screw 6, a handle 8 or the like) for sending the moving jaw 3 in a direction approaching to/separating from the fixed jaw 2, and for clamping the workpiece W. Each base part 20, 30 of the jaws has a concave surface 20b, 30b, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
