Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vision recovery assisting system and a vision system nerve stimulation device which make a patient sense phosphene easier.SOLUTION: A vision recovery assisting system 1 comprises a vision recovery assisting device 100 and a second stimulation device 10. The vision recovery assisting device 100 includes: a camera 121 for capturing an image of an external image recognized by a patient; a plurality of electrodes 111; and a processing device 30 and a stimulation unit 110a for outputting electric stimulations selectively from the plurality of electrodes 111 based on the external image. Besides, the second stimulation device 10 comprises: an electrode 11a, 11b arranged in proximity to a primary visual area of the patient; and the processing device 30 for causing an electric or magnetic second stimulation to be output to the vision system nerve of the patient from the electrode 11a, 11b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
