PURPOSE: To obtain the titled powder having high fluidity and excellent dispersibility in water and containing vitamin E in high concentration, by using an emulsion of vitamin E which is an oily drug effective to habitual abortion, amyotrophy, cardiopathy, etc., and spray-drying the emulsion together with several specific kinds of additives.
CONSTITUTION: The objective powder is produced by spray-drying a mixture of (A) vitamin E, (B) hydroxypropyl cellulose having low substitution degree or crystalline cellulose.carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt, (C) a pluronic or Tween-type surfactant and (D) silicic anhydride. The amounts of the hydroxypropyl cellulose having low substitution degree, the surfactant of the component C and the component D are preferably 0.6W1.2pts.wt., 0.05W1pt.wt. and 0.1W0.4pt.wt. per 1pt.wt. of vitamin E, respectively. Vitamin E exists in vegetable oils and fats such as wheat embryo oil and cottonseed oil.
