A voice storage telephone includes a receiving circuit which responds to a call notification signal from a transceiver station, a call response circuit 16 which automatically responds to an incoming call and generates an off hook enable signal without the intervention of a user after it receives the call notification signal after a prescribed period and a message recording circuit 78 which responds to the off hook enable signal and digitally records a voice message that is sent from the transceiver station in a 1st frequency. The message is preliminarily recorded in the transceiver station of a sending end in a 2nd frequency that is lower than the 1st frequency. This voice storage telephone 10 further includes a reproduction circuit 32, is connected to the circuit 78 and reproduces a voice message in a normal communication frequency.
