Abstract:
To provide a voice transmission system having improved voice reproducibility while suppressing noise occurrence caused by a transmission error.
The voice transmission system is equipped with a plurality of terminal devices 2 each including: a first differential calculation means 36 for calculating an absolute value Akof a differential between a quantization value Qkof a sample point Skof a digital voice signal and a quantization value Qk-1at a preceding sample point Sk-1; a correction reference value calculation means 37 for calculating a maximum value M of the absolute value Akregarding one voice frame resulting from dividing by a time axis, voice data constituted by encoding the digital voice signal; a transmission means 34 for transmitting a packet having the voice frame and the maximum value M; a reception means 42 for receiving the packet; and a noise countermeasure processing means 45 for correcting the quantization value Qkat the sample point Skinto a quantization value Qk' in which the absolute value Akis equal to the maximum value M and positive and negative differentials are equal when the absolute value Akcalculated by the digital voice signal resulting from decoding the voice frame in the packet exceeds the maximum value M.
