PURPOSE: To offer a walking type small electric motor car easily understandable of its forwarding and reversing state by an operator, an electric motor car capable of causing an operator to clearly identify specially the change over to the reversing state.
CONSTITUTION: A grip 10a, with which a hand grip operation is possible, is provided on the handle portion 5 of a running machine in such a manner as possible to make a longitudinal turning motion around a cross shaft core running through the interior of the grip 10a, a speed changed means equipped on the running machine is operated to change the speed to the forward speed increasing side as turning further to the front than the neutral operating position of the grip 10a, connecting the speed change means thereto as turning further to the rear than the neutral operating position of the grip 10a, and a regulating operation button 12 is provided near the end of the grip 10a. A regulating portion. Which regulates the turning operation to the reverse from the neutral operating position of the grip 10a upon coming in contact with a regulated member 14 turning in one body with the grip 10a, is connected to the regulating operation button 12, so that the regulated condition of the regulating portion and the regulated member 14 becomes releasable along with the operation of the regulation operating button 12.
