To provide a warp tension regulator having a simple and small configuration and capable of imparting a large energization force.
This regulator has a tension roll 23 on which a warp 1 sent from a feed beam is wound, an easing lever 26 holding the tension roll 23 in a rockable state and springs 34a, 34b energizing the lever 26 in the direction enabling tension to be added to the warp i. The energization force of the springs 34a, 34b displaces the tension roll 23 to absorb the fluctuation of warp tension and regulate the warp tension. The springs 34a, 34b are installed on both sides of one end of the lever 26 as a border. When the warp 1 is wound on the tension roll 23, warp tension loads compression force to one of springs 34a, 34b through the lever 26 and tensile force to the other.
