To provide a wash collecting apparatus capable of sufficiently securing the storing capacity for wash and also easily putting in the wash, and having little fear of theft.

A taking-in chamber 8 having a fall door 80 is formed in the interior of a housing 2. The fall door 80 is opened and closed by a driving motor 10 through a link mechanism 9. A storing chamber 20 is formed in the lower part in the housing 2. A first sensor 11 for detecting the completely closed state of the fall door 80 and a second sensor 12 for detecting the completely opened state of the fall door 80 are disposed. The output of the first and second sensors 11, 12 is used for controlling the opening and closing operation of the fall door 80 and detecting the full load state of the storing chamber 20. A movable fin 13 is provided on the lower part of the fall door 80 of the taking-in chamber 8 to be rocked by a driving motor 14.
