Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a washing device suitable for secondarily treated water of sewer contg. org. pollutants liable to form mud balls, raw water having high turbidity, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The top wall 10 of a raw water chamber of a backwashing water holding type filter device is formed to an umbrella shape. A siphon pipe 11 is erected at the side edge of the top wall 10 and an air vent pipe 16 is erected in the central part thereof. A connecting pipe 8 for connecting a filtrate chamber 5 to a washing water storage tank 7 is disposed in the central part of the top wall 10 and baffle plates 19 to 21 enclosing the communicating pipe 8 are concentrically arranged in multiple stages in the raw water chamber. An air supply pipe is connected to the communicating pipe 8 to form an ejector so that the filter medium washing by a fluid mixture composed of gas and liquid, the returning of the filter medium the filter medium layer by the baffle plates and the separating of washing air and washing waste water are executed.
