Abstract:

To remove concrete that has adhered to a concrete-handling apparatus, without corroding metals constituting concrete handling apparatuses.

The washing liquid for adhered concrete contains as the effective component, an organic ester compound which generates a calcium salt of carboxylic acid, of which is either crystalline or water-soluble, produced by alkali hydrolysis reaction. A method of cleaning freshly-mixed concrete-handling apparatuses, comprising introducing the washing liquid for adhered concrete into the freshly-mixed concrete-handling apparatuses and removing hardened cement, such as concrete, mortar and cement paste adhered to the freshly-mixed concrete-handling apparatuses is also disclosed.
