The method of controlling the washing machine comprises a step for determining whether a wrinkle prevention course is selected or not, a step for executing a general washing process by feeding washing water to a level set according to the quantity of the laundry in the washing process when it is determined that the wrinkle prevention course is selected, and a step for timing the period of the washing process and additionally feeding washing water at prescribed time before completion of the washing.
