Title:
WASTE CAN PRESS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2756438
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a waste can from turning without engagement and to collapse it by energizing a metallic insert member in the projecting direction a member which is provided projectingly from the circumferential face of a driving drum and freely movably forwards and backwards and which hooks the can on the drum so as to pull it into a nip part.
SOLUTION: A waste can compressing part is constituted of driving drums 11, 12 that form nip parts with a prescribed space in between. With the first driving drum 11 driven by a motor M installed on the housing 8, the second driving drum 12 is rotated inversely by a gear 16a provided on the rotary shaft 16. A metallic insert member 14 provided on the driving drums 11, 12 is supported at the inside of the step 14a at both ends, by means of an energizing member 15, freely movably forward to and backward from the circumferential face of the driving drums 11, 12, and is energized in the projecting direction. With a waste can C dropped and drawn into the driving drums 11, 12, it is hooked by the insert member 14, pulled into the nip part 13, compressed and discharged into a waste can storing part 4. Consequently, the waste can is prevented from turning without engagement and collapsed continuously.
