Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a waste paper treating device in which defibrillated materials after dehydration are made blocks to give good handling property of waste, the structure of places where water is used is simple, the contamination of replenishing surfactant solution is prevented, and also the concentration of a defibrillated material suspension is easy to adjust and the number of cylinders used for a defibrillated material compressing system is reduced.
CONSTITUTION: Waste paper thrown in a defibrillating tank 6 of a defibrillating part B from a waste paper feeder of a waste paper feeding part A is defibrillated in a turning stream in a surfactant solution 5 generated by the rotation of an agitator 7 in the defibrillating tank 6 to obtain a defibrillating material suspension. Then, the suspension is conveyed into a defibrillated material block forming cylindrical body 44 of a defibrillated material compressing part C arranged above the surface of the water in the defibrillating tank 6. It is compressed by a defibrillated material press means and dehydrated to form defibrillated material blocks of a prescribed size. The formed defibrillated material blocks are pushed out by a defibrillated material push-out means and recovered in a bucket 26 of a defibrillated material recovery part E.
