Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to eliminate coasting of a pallet and let vehicles to enter or leave the parking space easily, and what is more, speed up their actions by driving pallets restrictedly over the whole length of a traveling stroke by way of an engagement piece installed to a feed chain.
CONSTITUTION: A slide frame 12 is moved back and force in parallel to support frames 11 which support a pallet 20 by way of running rails 11a and a feed chain 13 is run along the upper edge. This feed chain 13 forces the pallet 20 to run on the running rail 11a and fixed rails S1a installed to a parking space connected thereto. At that time, the feed chain 13 forces engagement pieces 13a to be engaged with engagement blocks of the pallet 20 from the front and rear sides, thereby driving restrictedly the pallet 20 over the whole length of a traveling stroke of the pallet. Therefore, the pallet 20 is capable of accelerating or reducing its traveling speed arbitrarily and being aligned at a specified position and coming to a halt without the demand for any special stopper.
