The wastewater treatment apparatus 1 for treating wastewater containing a surfactant is provided with a flow rate adjustment tank 11 and a wastewater treatment tank 12 arranged in a downstream of the flow rate adjustment tank 11. The wastewater treatment tank 12 is provided with an aeration unit 71, the membrane separation unit 72 having a plurality of plane membranes 73, 73, 73... arranged on a downstream side of the aeration unit 71 and an aeration unit 74 for the membrane separation unit for aerating with respect to the membrane separation unit 72. A blower 81 for supplying air to the aeration unit 71 and the aeration unit 74 for the membrane separation unit is provided.
