PURPOSE: To obtain a watch capable of testing eye strain by controlling the lighting and the extinguishing of indication so tht different time is indicated at a specified interval of seconds through a shift register or the like.

CONSTITUTION: When a switch 7 is closed, the output of Q1... of a shift register 3 which is driven by a 1/2Hz signal from a division circuit 1 turns to a hign level at an interval of two seconds and is applied to a corresponding OR gates 8...A specified divided output of the division circuit 1 is applied to the gates 8 and the output of an AND gate 16 becomes so high in the level during a different time at an interval of two seconds as to control a decoder 17 receiving the output of the register 3. This permits an indication cirlcuit to perform lighting during the different time at the interval of two seconds through a driving circuit 19. Thus, the lighting and extinguishing time can be changed at the interval of two seconds thereby enabling the inspection of eye strain.
