Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watching apparatus and a watching method capable of determining that a watching target person being in a room is in a predetermined state.SOLUTION: A watching apparatus 10 comprises: a presence signal acquisition unit 12 for acquiring a presence signal showing the presence of a target person within a predetermined area in a room; biological signal acquisition unit 12 for acquiring the biological signal of a human body via a necessary sensor provided at a bed; and a determination unit 13 which determines that the target person is in a predetermined state when a period in which the presence signal and the biological signal cannot be acquired continuously for a predetermined period. Thus, the watching apparatus 10 watches the watching target person in the room.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
