Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based coating material composition for a metal plate capable of forming a film providing good adhesion of a UV curable type coating material, a UV curable type ink or a UV curable adhesive in addition to good corrosion and scuff resistances and molding processability.
SOLUTION: This composition consists essentially of (C) a polyurethane resin having at least one ethylenically unsaturated double bond and ≥100% elongation percentage of a dried film alone or two or more kinds selected from (A) a polyurethane resin [except the component (C)] having ≥100% elongation percentage of a dried film, (B) a synthetic resin having at least one ethylenically unsaturated double bond [except the component (C)] and the component (C) and water in the components (A), (B) and (C) without containing a photopolymerization initiator. The above composition may further contain (D) a water-dispersible wax or (E) water-insoluble microparticles having ≥2.5 Mohs hardness.
