Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink composition having both characteristics of waterproof properties just after writing and cap-off performance by using an aqueous pigment dispersion using an alkali salt of a carboxy group-containing compound as a pigment dispersant.
SOLUTION: The water-based ink composition using an aqueous pigment dispersion is obtained by dispersing a pigment in water by a pigment dispersant. The pigment dispersant contains the alkali salt of the carboxy group-containing compound, and the alkali salt contains an ammonium salt and a slightly volatile alkali salt.
