To estimate a water component using data on water that passes through a filter.SOLUTION: A water component estimation device 22 acquires input data showing first total organic carbon data of water W1 flowing into a filter 16 for purifying water, and second total organic carbon data of water W2 flowing out from the filter 16. The water component estimation device 22 inputs input data to a trained model that has been trained in advance, and outputs data regarding a component of the water flowing into the filter 16 from the trained model, to thereby estimate the component of the water flowing into the filter 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
