Abstract:

To provide a printing quality control apparatus of an offset printer which can notify an operator of control that suppresses the generation of a defective printed matter at an early stage or can automatically execute the control when such a sign that the defective printed matter is generated due to reduction in the printing quality occurs.SOLUTION: A printing quality control system of an offset printer is configured to print a pattern and a dot pattern for shape confirmation on a sheet and comprises in a path for conveying the sheet an imaging device which images the dot pattern for shape confirmation printed on the sheet and a determination device. The determination device is configured to confirm a dot shape change with the image of the dot pattern for shape confirmation, and notify an operator of control that suppresses the generation of a defective printed matter in a case where the dot shape change is the dot shape change in which the printing quality of a printed matter is reduced and the defective printed matter is generated if printing is continued as it is, or automatically execute the control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
