Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-extinguisher having sprinkling performance covering a protective space in a wide range, and fire-extinguishing performance effective to a highly-dangerous fire having high combustion speed such as an oil fire; and to provide a fire-extinguishing method.SOLUTION: A water discharge type foam fire-extinguisher includes at least one water discharge type head, a pump for supplying water from a water source to the water discharge type head, a storage tank containing a foam fire-extinguishing agent, and a mixing device for mixing the foam fire-extinguishing agent into water supplied to the water discharge type head, to thereby obtain mixed water containing the foam fire-extinguishing agent in a prescribed concentration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
