Abstract:
To provide a water discoloring indicator with a feature for determining the past presence and the present presence of water adhesion.SOLUTION: A water discoloring indicator 1 is provided, comprising: a porous layer 3 formed by dispersing and immobilizing a low refractive index pigment in a binder resin on a substrate 2, the porous layer being non-transparent when water is not absorbed and transparent when water is absorbed therein; and a coloring layer 4 partially provided on the porous layer, the coloring layer being designed to be solubilized in water containing a pigment and, as necessary, a binder resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
