Abstract:

To provide a water-dispersed adhesive composition which prevents from repelling when directly coating a release liner and can form an adhesive layer having a smooth coated surface.

The water-dispersed adhesive composition comprises a base polymer dispersed in water wherein the viscosity measured at a shear rate of 4 (1/s) at 30°C successively after applying a shear at a shear rate of 1×104 (1/s) at 30°C for 10 sec is not less than 3 (Pa s). The composition also preferably has a viscosity of 2-15 (Pa s) measured at a shear rate of 4 (1/s) at 30°C. As for the base polymer, an acrylic polymer obtained by polymerizing an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer as a principal monomer constituent is suitably used.
