Abstract:
To provide a water jet cutting device capable of lengthening the service life of a catcher by restraining the local abrasion of the catcher.
The water jet cutting device 1 includes a nozzle 2, the catcher 3 and a suction device 4. The nozzle 2 injects pressurized water into a cutting object W. The catcher 3 includes a cylindrical rotor for receiving a water flow after cutting the cutting object W by an inner peripheral surface, and a support member for rotatably supporting the rotor around the axis. The suction device 4 sucks the water flow received by the catcher 3. The suction device 4 also functions as a driving means for supplying power for rotating the rotor.
