Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-proof pavement structure for a road floor slab, capable of greatly improving the durability of the floor slab and easy of water- proof construction without causing the entry of rainwater into the floor slab and without accelerating the deterioration of concretes and the corrosion of reinforcement in the floor slab.
SOLUTION: A number of rubber water-proof sheets 2 are placed on the upper face of the floor slab 1 apart from an opening portion or a protruded portion on the upper face of the floor slab 1 and the adjacent rubber water-proof sheets 2 are fixed with their ends overlapping each other. A water-proof layer 15 of synthetic resin such as urethane resin is formed between the opening portion or the protruded portion and the upper face of the rubber water-proof sheet adjacent thereto with application or spraying, and the floor slab 1 is coated with asphalt or concrete surface paving material 7, ranging from the rubber water-proof sheet 2 to the water-proof layer 15 of synthetic resin such as urethane resin.
