Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for a pot-type water purifier having a high initial water flow rate, and a pot-type water purifier equipped with the cartridge.SOLUTION: A water purification cartridge 100 is provided with a molded water purification material 43 molded in a hollow cylindrical shape. Raw water flowing into a central flow passage 44 formed in a hollow part of the molded water purification material 43 passes through the molded water purification material 43 from inside to outside in the radial direction, flows through an external flow passage 47 formed between the molded water purification material 43 and a casing body 40 of the cartridge, and is discharged from a water outflow passage 41 as purified water. An air vent path 15 is formed which communicates and connects the external flow passage 47 with the outside 62 on the purified water side of the side surface of the water purification cartridge 100, whereby air accumulated in the water purification cartridge 100 can be properly discharged and a sufficient filtration flow rate can be ensured from an initial stage of water passing.
