Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble yellow pigment (compound) that is high in solubility in water, excellent in various fastness such as water resistance, moisture resistance, ozone gas resistance, abrasion resistance and light resistance, and excellent in color development (print density) and chroma.SOLUTION: This invention provides a trisazo compound prepared as follows: 2 equivalent of an azo compound A obtained by the coupling reaction of a product obtained by diazotizing 5-amino-2-methoxy benzene sulfonic acid and a product obtained by converting 5-chloro-2-(3-sulfopropoxy) aniline into methyl-ω-sulfonic acid derivative is reacted with 1 equivalent of cyanuric chloride, and then, the resultant product is reacted with 1 equivalent of an azo compound B obtained by the coupling reaction of a product obtained by diazotizing 4-amino-benzene sulfonic acid and aniline.
