Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble yellow pigment (compound) that is high in solubility in water and excellent in various fastness such as water resistance, moisture resistance, ozone gas resistance, abrasion resistance and light resistance, especially excellent in color development (print density) and chroma, and a yellow ink composition for various recordings, especially inkjet recording, containing the same, and a colored body colored by the ink composition.SOLUTION: This invention provides a water-soluble azo compound obtained by a reaction between cyanuric chloride and an aminoazo compound represented by the formula (6) or the like, or salt thereof, where Rrepresents a C1-C4 alkyl group.
