Abstract:
To provide a water stop construction method and a water stop structure capable of improving water stop performance.SOLUTION: A water stop construction method for stopping water leakage from an opening defect part 92 formed in a pipe 9 using a water stop jig 1, comprises: an insertion step of inserting a shaft part 2 and a sleeve 3 of the water stop jig 1 into the opening defect part 92, where the water stop jig has the shaft part 2, the sleeve 3 provided around the shaft part 2, and a screwing part 4 screwed to the shaft part 2; and a screwing step of deforming the sleeve 3 so as to expand in a radially outward direction of the sleeve 3 by screwing the screwing part 4 to the shaft part 2, to bring the sleeve into contact with an inner surface 9a of the pipe 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
