Title:
WATER-SUPPLYING DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC ICE-MAKING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3204940
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an abnormal sound from being generated inside a pump by arranging a water-supply pump for supplying water from a water-supply tank to an ice-making tray by meshing of gears so that a water flow path from the inlet to the outlet of water becomes a straight line, and at the same time by inclining it so that the outlet is set to a lower direction.
SOLUTION: In a water-supply tank corner 4, a water-supply tank 90 is mounted onto a catch pan 110, a driving mechanism 100 is laid on the catch pan 110, and the catch pan 110 is connected to a water-supply pump 120 via a suction hose 119. Then, if water reaches the tip of a draft 95a, and a catch pan 149 is filled with water when a valve device 93 is driven by the driving mechanism 100, the water is supplied to the catch pan 149 by a water-supply pipe 120. In this case, the water-supply pump 120 is provided with an exit part being directed downward at a fixed angle of θp, thus preventing an abnormal sound where the water is likely dancing in the pump from being generated and at the same time ensuring the smooth water flow.
