Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector that prevents degradation of waterproof properties at a wire lead-out part.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector 11 comprising: a connector housing 18 including a fitting part 12 fitted to a matching connector, a filling room 16 in which connecting parts 15 for connecting respective wire 13 terminals and terminals 14 are housed and a filler is filled, and a wire lead-out part 17 from which the wires 13 are led out from inside the filling room 16; a rear holder 19 for sandwiching the wires 13 fitted to and led out from the wire lead-out part 17 with the wire lead-out part 17; and seal caps 50 each of which is fitted to the wire 13 between the wire lead-out part 17 and the filling room 16, for stopping the filler from leaking from inside the filling room 16. Further, gripping recessions 21 and 39 are provided in the wire lead-out part 17 and the rear holder 19 respectively, so that the seal cap 50 is deformed and closely abutted to the outer periphery of the wire 13 in a state of the rear holder 19 being fitted to the wire lead-out part 17.
