Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify operation, and to shorten the term of works by conducting waterproof execution operation at the same time as asphalt concrete pavement/ work without separately performing the waterproof execution operation.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet 2 having a softening point of 100-160°C is fixed and laid to the concrete slab surface 1 of the underside of aspalt concrete pavement in a road, a bridge, etc., by nails 4, etc., as required, and asphalt concrete 3 pavement is executed on the top face of the sheet 2. A waterproof layer is formed in such a manner that the sheet 2 is softened and melted by heat at the time of the pavement of asphalt concrete 3 and joined with the concrete slab surface 1 of the underside while being also bonded with a contact surface with asphalt concrete 3.
