To provide a waterproof grommet capable of properly maintaining waterproof performance for a long time by restricting deterioration of waterproof performance even if elastic force is deteriorated by aging effect.

The waterproof grommet 20 has a cylindrical part 20j abutting on a pivot shaft 12 to seal a clearance between the pivot shaft 12 and an annular fitting body part 20a, which is connected to the cylindrical part 20j and in which a pivot holder 11b is to be inserted. The fitting body part 20a is provided with an outside flange part 20b and an inside flange part 20c respectively abutting on the outside surface and the inside surface of the peripheral edge part to seal a clearance between the peripheral edge part of the pivot shaft insertion hole 3a and pinch the peripheral edge part inside and outside thereof. The inner peripheral surface of the fitting body part 20a is provided with a pushing projection part 20f to be compressed and deformed by the outer peripheral surface of the pivot holder 11b to push the outside flange part 20b toward the outside surface of the peripheral edge part of the pivot shaft insertion hole 3a with the elastic force when deforming.
