Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non-coated type waterproof thin polyester fabric excellent in waterproof performance and its durability to washing and wear durability under moist conditions, also excellent in quality after sewn and tailored, having such a level of tear strength as not to cause any practical problem and having soft feel of touch. SOLUTION: This waterproof polyester woven fabric is high-density one, comprising filament yarns <=0.6 denier in single fiber fineness and 60-120 denier in total fineness, being 2,320-3,000 in the sum of cover factors for warp and weft directions, and provided, on its surface, with a processing agent composed of a perfluoroalkyl group-contg. acrylic copolymer, an aminoplast resin, a polyfunctional blocked isocyanate group-contg. urethane resin, and ethylene carbonate.
