To solve the problem of a waterproof member with air permeability for roof ridge construction, of which waterproof performance has not been conventionally satisfied due to holes in the waterproof member resulting from fastening to a ridge rafter with a tool such as a tacker, and which has been difficult to be aligned with the center of the ridge rafter in construction.

A waterproof roofing member 1 wound in a spiral form before construction is expandable and retractable in length direction and/or width direction in construction and used as a long object for roof ridge construction. The waterproof roofing member has an adhesive layer 13 on each of both sides in width direction. The waterproof roofing member has an adhesive face 13a having water cut-off performance at a contact surface with a ridge rafter, so that fastening to the ridge rafter can be easily performed without using a tool. In addition, a surface side of the uppermost nonwoven fabric layer of the waterproof roofing member is provided with at least one of the center line 15 extending along longitudinal direction or construction reference lines 16 corresponding to the width of the ridge rafter, so that, by using them as reference, straight construction relative to the ridge rafter can be easily performed with reduced variations among operators.
