In winding a pressure-sensitive adhesive held in between two sheets of release paper, the waterproof tape which extremely excels in applicability can be obtained by dividing one sheet of the release paper into two rows in the width direction not to merely face the two rows of the release paper with each other but to expose part of the pressure-sensitive adhesive material at appropriate intervals and applying the exposed part of the pressure-sensitive adhesive to an adherend to wind the pressure-sensitive adhesive.
