Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent invasion of water into inside a shoe surely, by improving a waterproof footwear consisting of an inner sole, a foamed molded outersole equipped with a flange obtained by injection molding and a shaft covered with a waterproof layer, which is in close contact with liquid but, which does not pass water vapor. CONSTITUTION: The range 5 under a shaft 3 is connected to the edge range 12 under a waterproof layer 4 and the outer edge range 9 of an innersole 1 via an upper tape 6, a lower tape 7 and a strong anti-tensile web 8. The web connects these two tapes 6, 7 mutually. Thereby, tapes 6, 7 and the anti-tensile web 8 form a unit which is difficult to be slipped off. Furthermore, a lower flange range 5 on the shaft 3 is sutured to the upper tape 6. The edge range 12 under the waterproof layer 4 and the outer edge range 9 of the innersole 1 are sutured to the lower tape 7. The anti-tensile web 8 and the lower tape 7 are embedded into a material for forming an outersole 2.
