To provide a waterproof woodboard material enhanced in safety from an aspect of use.

The waterproof woodboard material comprises a resin material sandwithced between a base board and surface boards to stick and fix the base board and the surface boards. The resin material comprises a PVC resin called as a polyvinyl chloride resin and stuck to the upper and rear surfaces of the base board to enter the interstices of the grains of the base board and the surface boards. The surface boards are thin plates arranged on both sides of the base board and stuck to the base board by the resin material so as to cover the base board. By this structure, the waterproof effect or insect damage preventing effect of the woodboard material is obtained, and durability and practicability are enhanced because the resin material has excellent waterproof properties. Further, since the resin material constituting the woodboard material contains no formaldehyde component, the diffusion of the formaldehyde component into air from the woodboard material is prevented and the safety of the woodboard material from an aspect of use is also enhanced.
