Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the amt. of back flow when a slurry is transferred by pressure and to prevent initial local wear and damage from occurring by forming a hose of an inner face rubber layer, a rubber-covered fiber-reinforced layer and an outer face rubber layer and making a specified region of the inner peripheral face of the inner face rubber layer into a tapered shape and making the rubber-covered fiber-reinforced layer to a uniform diameter.
SOLUTION: A rubber hose 1 is constituted of an inner face rubber layer 2, a rubber- covered fiber-reinforced layer 3 and an outer face rubber layer 4 and a specified region of the inner peripheral face of the inner face rubber layer 2 is formed into a tapered shape and the rubber-covered fiber-reinforced layer 3 is formed to a uniform diameter. As the fiber of the rubber-covered fiber-reinforced layer 3, various org. fibers and inorg. and metal fibers are used. When this hose 1 is mounted and used in a squeezing type pump, a slurry sucked by means of a following roller can be pushed up to the vicinity of a preceding roller by a tapered part 2b. As the result, the preceding roller passes through a rotational track at its top position and suppresses the amt. of back flow of the slurry which is produced immediately before it is separated from the hose and suppresses wear and damage.
