Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable mounting with no position displacement of a cord member to be performed by providing the cord member, for preventing elongation of a weather strip when it is mounted, to be arranged along a lengthwise direction between the weather strip and a both-side adhesive tape mounting the weather strip to a car body opening edge or the like. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip 3 is provided with an almost flat plate-shaped long size base part 4, sash side lip 5, hollow seal lip 6 and an anchor lip 7, and the base part 4 adhesively mounts to its bottom surface 4a a both-side adhesive tape 8 along the lengthwise direction. Here the both-side adhesive tape 8 arranges between its upper surface center and the bottom surface 4a of the base part 4 one streak of nylon and polyester made cord member 11. Thus in case of mounting the weather strip 3 along a door peripheral surface, by suitable tensile force acting at this time, said weather strip 3 is effectively prevented from elongating in the lengthwise direction.
