Abstract:
To provide a wedge fastening device used at a scaffold such as temporary scaffold.SOLUTION: A wedge member is moved downward from a standby position to a fastening position and fastened by being driven into a fastening hole of a flange. A holding means (37) receives a stopper portion (36) protruding from an idler surface (34) of a branch part (16B) of the wedge member and consists of a swing plate (38) having a free end (38a) that can rotate around a pivot (42) and a control means (46) to control the rotation of the swing plate. The swing plate (38) is resiliently energized so that the free end (38a) is moved forward by a spring means (43) toward the idler surface (34) of the branch part (16B). A holding portion (48) protrudes from the free end toward the idler surface (34). The control means (46) stops and holds the holding portion (48) at a predetermined position so as not to be pressed against the idler surface (34) by receiving the resiliently energized swing plate (38) from an opposite direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
