PURPOSE: To reduce the price of welding equipment when electric power is unavailable, by setting one of driving wheels of an automobile in a state being nongrounded by means of a jig, and connecting the rotation of the driving wheel to a generator linked to a welding head by means of rotation transmission mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: One 51 of driving wheels of an ordinary automobile is set in a state being nongrounded by means of a setting jig 11, and an endless belt 10 is threaded around the driving wheel 51 so as to rotate a generator 16 with the engine output of the automobile through a rotation transmission mechanism 15 and the belt 10. At this time, a car stopper 4 is applied beneath an idler wheel 53, and the other driving wheel 52 is locked with a clamp mechanism 9. The generator 16 is connected to a welding head consisting of a control mechanism 17 and a welding torch 19. Since the driving wheel 52 is locked, the driving wheel 51 rotates at a double speed than usual, and the output may be effectively utilized. Thus, without requiring exclusive driving machine, the price of the welding equipment may be reduced, and the conveying and handling of the equipment may be facilitated.
