WELDING METHOD AND WELDING DEVICE OF ELECTRIC WIRE

PURPOSE: To prevent mixing of impurities and run-off of a welding material in a heating and welding work, by inserting the ends of electric wires by holding a welding material in a housing, installing molten metal stoppers to the ends of the electric wires, and filling a heating agent through a partition wall member.
CONSTITUTION: In a housing 1 which consists of a cartridge outer tube 2, a partition wall member 3, and end plates 4, a heating agent 5 and an aluminum welding material 7 are filled. Two aluminum electric wires 8 in which molten metal stoppers 9 which consist of a heat resisting ceramic film are formed at the wire ends are inserted into the housing 1, and their tips are abutted to the welding material 7. Then, by reacting the lighting agent 5 by an igniter 6, the welding material 7 is melted by the oxidizing and reducing reaction heat. The welded aluminum flows out on the surface of the electric wires 8, but the run-off to the outer side is blocked by the stoppers 9. After the aluminum is cooled and solidified, the electric wires 8 are picked up. Consequently, the mixing of impurities and the run-off of the welding material in the heating and welding work can be prevented.
