Abstract:
To provide a welding robot system capable of ensuring fine welding quality while suppressing an increase in a cost related to a detection device for detecting a state of a welded article, and a welding method using the welding robot system.SOLUTION: A welding robot system includes: one detection device 122 for detecting a state of work 200; and a control device which controls the detection device 122 to move to a front side of a welding torch 102 when detecting a state of the work 200 on the front side in a traveling direction of the welding torch 102, and controls the detection device 122 to move to a rear side of the welding torch 102 when detecting a state of the work 200 on the rear side in the traveling direction of the welding torch 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
