Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the cooling ability by partitioning off a floating seal chamber from a brake chamber and forming oil paths in such a manner that oil is circulated through a wet-type brake chamber and a speed reduction gear chamber. CONSTITUTION:The inner peripheral edge of a back plate 23 is extended to be integral with a shielding plate 40, and the inner peripheral portion of a wet-type brake chamber 1 and the internal space of an introduction hole 27 are shielded from a floating seal chamber 34. The floating seal chamber 34 is connected to a speed reduction gear chamber 15 by a discharge oil path 44 disposed in the wall thickness of a wheel hub 17. The speed reduction gear chamber 15 is connected to a wet-type brake chamber 1 through return oil paths 42, 43, a passage 44 between an axle shaft 5 and an axle pipe 11 and a hole 28.
