Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a printing quality by forming protrusion shape structural pattern elements into an egg shape wherein the radii of curvature gradually increase from the zenithal section to a recess shape structural pattern element transition section, in this title wheel having the protrusion shape structural pattern elements which support leaf papers by the zenithal sections.
CONSTITUTION: On the surface of this wheel 1, protrusion shape structural pattern elements 2 are formed as a dome in such a manner that the elements 2 are statistically uniformly distributed, and the zenithal sections 4 are located at the same height, and a leaf paper is supported to a corresponding impression cylinder. The protrusion shape structural pattern element 2 is formed into an egg shape wherein the radii of curvature increase from the zenithal section 4 to a transition section 5 to a recess shape structural pattern element 6. That is, the element 2 is formed into the shape of the tip end of an egg 7, and the maximum length is restricted by the tip end section of the zenithal section 4 and the back surface 8 of the wheel 1. Then, a direct transition of the protrusion shape structural pattern element 2 to the recess shape structural pattern element 6 is preferable.
